Senior Mobile Developer

HitPath is looking for an intelligent, hard-working, creative senior mobile app developer to join our growing company.

We are looking for a senior mobile app developer to lead the design, development and maintenance of Android and iPhone apps. The developer will lead the entire app life-cycle right from concept stage until delivery and post launch support. Apps will be mainly content based and integrated closely with the main tracking software. In addition to delivering the product the successful candidate will be heavily involved in keeping up with user feedback.

Main tasks & Requirements:

  • Acting as lead iOS and/ or Android developer. Depending on the skills set can be lead on one platform and play a supporting role across the other
  • Working closely with another mobile app developer leading the other platform development
  • Deliver across the entire app life cycle –concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support
  • Working directly with developers and product managers to conceptualize, build, test and realize products
  • Gather requirements around functionality and translate those requirements into elegant functional solutions
  • Build prototypes at tech scoping stage of projects
  • Working along the software engineering team to create and maintain a robust framework to support the apps
  • Working with the front end designers to build the interface with focus on usability features Create compelling device specific user interfaces and experiences
  • Standardizing the platform and in some cases apps to deliver across multiple brands with minimal duplication of effort
  • Optimizing performance for the apps
  • Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in the mobile technologies

Software Engineers

HitPath is looking for an intelligent, hard-working, creative developer to join our growing company.

Besides coding as per the skills and requirements below we need you to be able to handle things like: documentation/definition of functional requirements and system design, develop and unit test components following HitPath coding conventions and documentation standards, correct issues found in testing or the implementation of new features. You must be able to conduct and assist in design reviews as well as participate in the development of customer-driven enhancement features while performing normal administrative functions associated with a professional position, such as time reporting, project status reporting, and the likes.

Skills & Requirements:

Here is a short list of things you must be able to work with on a daily basis: We are a LAMP stack shop. Although we don’t need you to be a server admin, you should know your way around the Linux OS and the Apache Webserver. Without being limited to these languages you need to be able to write code with PHP, JavaScript, C and be familiar with JSON and XML standards. We use an MVC oriented coding framework and you will be required to follow our standards as well as have a solid knowledge of Subversion or any other version control systems. We have fun in the office and the dev shop is ultra relaxed, but it’s all about getting the job done. Self motivated go-getters who meet deadlines and play ball with the team have even more fun!

Position Overview

As a member of the Customer Service Team, you will be responsible for providing a high quality of technical support and customer service, to HitPath clients, via Telephone, Instant Messenger, and E-Mail.
You will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting client issues involving internet ad campaigns, reporting, user maintenance, etc. You will apply your excellent troubleshooting skills and your ability to diagnose and resolve issues. You will be able to provide timely resolutions to support requests while demonstrating superior customer care skills and practices. The ability to recognize priority issues and escalate them accordingly will be critical to your success.
HitPath has a very broad user base so it is critical that you can successfully communicate with individuals from the most non-technical, to deeply technical engineers or senior managers. You will be an active advocate for the customer within our organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Providing necessary support to HitPath clients via telephone, IM and Email
  • Act as a resource for clients
  • Determine the nature of client issues
  • Participate in the development of customer-driven enhancement features
  • Perform normal administrative functions associated with a professional position, such as time reporting, project status reporting, and the like

Required Experience/Skills
